From Russia with Love connects the subversive art of Russian criminal tattoos with traditional Russian blue porcelain design, uniting two opposed but equally important and influential strands of Russian art history. All ceramic plates are handmade, and illustrated by hand with drawings from the Russian prison. Just like a hand made tattoo on the skin, each unique plate is hand crafted and there is no second to it.
